Lakshmi Turns Impossible into Possible, Passes Matric Exam Writing with Feet

In a remarkable example of determination and courage, Lakshmi Khimundu from Malkangiri district has proved that physical disability cannot stop success. Despite having both hands non-functional since birth, she successfully passed the matriculation examination by writing with her feet.


          Lakshmi, a student of PM Shri Government High School, Sindhrimal, secured a D grade in this year’s matric exam. Instead of depending on a writer (scribe), which was offered by the board, she chose to write the exam on her own using her feet—showing strong willpower and confidence.
        Her journey reflects immense hard work and dedication. She never accepted her limitations and continuously prac oiticed writing with her feet to achieve her goal.
District Education Officer Chittaranjan Panigrahi praised her achievement, saying that Lakshmi’s success is not only a personal victory but also a proud moment for the entire education                         community. He added that she has proved that physical disability cannot become a barrier to talent and education.
      Lakshmi’s determination and commitment have become an inspiration for many students. Her success has brought a wave of happiness across the region and stands as a powerful example that nothing is impossible with strong willpower.
