Ahmedabad: Project Shakti, supported by Hindalco Industries Limited, has been honoured with the Legend Award at the 21st Exceed CSR Awards for its contribution towards strengthening women-led enterprises and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The award was presented by Gujarat Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat, recognising the project’s efforts to transform informal livelihoods into structured and sustainable sources of income for women.
Project Shakti focuses on identifying local skills and nurturing women-led, non-farm enterprises. The initiative provides women entrepreneurs with capacity building, market linkages, compliance support and essential infrastructure to help them establish and expand their businesses.
By formalising traditional and informal livelihood activities, the project aims to improve income stability while enabling women to become more economically independent and confident entrepreneurs.
The recognition at the 21st Exceed CSR Awards highlights Project Shakti’s impact in promoting inclusive entrepreneurship, strengthening local livelihoods and creating sustainable economic opportunities for women.
